This guitar has been one of our favorite models for many years now. The body is based on classical guitar lines and curves, which gives it a wonderful sensuous look.  At the same time it is a bit larger, giving it the power that modern steel string players desire.  The volume of the body is very close to that of the justly famous "OM" model, although the shape is distinctive.  Charlie designed this instrument specifically with the fingerpicker in mind, and since our friend Leo Kottke played one for many years, we believe that it hit the mark. This guitar also works very well for voice accompaniment. The best descriptive word for this instrument is "balanced." It has very good volume, even tone, combining both warmth and brilliance, and is responsive over all strings at all frets. This guitar can be had with a cutaway and we will build it in a twelve fret neck version, which will sweeten the tone.  Originally designed with a 25.4" scale, it can also be made with a 24.75 scale.
